Loopy operates at a loss.

This is why we can say 100% of proceeds are donated.

How does it work?

Step One.
You reach out to me and let me know you’re interested.
I check my waitlist to see if I have space to take on a new project. If so, we proceed to step two.

Step Two.
I gather some information about the good you’re hoping to have me create. I’ll ask about the type of item you have in mind as well as the color and any fiber preferences.

Step Three.
If I don’t have yarn that fits your needs, which I usually do not, I begin looking for the right fibers for your project. I keep notes about where the yarn came from and the cost of the yarn to make your item.

Step Four.
You are waitlisted until it is time for me to begin working on your item.

Step Five.
Once I am done, I will deliver your item with a suggested price that is typically 50-100% of the cost of the yarn, depending on the total price and type of yarn. If I happen to find some very expensive yarn that fits your project perfectly, I will reduce the price beyond my typical markdown.

Step Six.
You provide me with payment and I let you know which organization 100% of that payment is donated to.

Why do I do this?

I do this because I love making things for people, but I also want to feel like the world is also benefiting in the process.

Let’s make the world a bit brighter, together.
